1 Research In Motion (NasdaqGS:RIMM - News) said it will sell its popular BlackBerry smart phone in China by year end. China Mobile will be its service provider. Alcatel-Lucent will distribute RIM's 8700 model. China is the world's biggest cell phone market and is growing fast, but mostly in low-end handsets. RIM shares shot up 10% to a new high. Alcatel and China Mobile rose 5%.
